A survivable branch appliance (SBA) is a device that aims to increase the resiliency of branch offices in terms of communications in cases of network failures as it is able to switch VoIP calls from the network over into the PSTN. In a scenario for a multi- site VoIP deployment the SBA would serve for emergency calls to a local 911 service provider and local station calls. SBA's are also used for least cost routing utilizing the DSP resources and local PSTN trunks at the branch location. SBA equipment comes in a variety of variants. In all cases the data network and factors like round trip delay and available bandwidth need to be considered for designing a SBA. == See also == * Microsoft Lync Server 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Survivable branch appliance」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
